The Grand Hotel Sergijo is a private, family-run hotel in the quiet recreation area of Slnava Lake, near the spa town of Piestany.

Food and beverages

The elegant Sergijo gourmet restaurant is open from 7:00 until 22:00 with the breakfast served between 7:00 and 10:00. The menu consists of a variety of delicious international dishes. The Polovnicka restaurant features a cosy ambience and serves a special selection of typical Slovak cuisine.

There is also a coffee bar with entertainment equipment and a 24-hour lobby bar, which is designed as a sophisticated saloon in the style of a British colonial club. Providing cognac and cigars, it features an open fireplace, library and pool and billiard tables.

The hotel is situated in picturesque surroundings close to Lake Slnava.

Piestany is a spa town famous all over the world for its thermal healing water. Its convenient position is ideal for taking trips to the most popular places and attractions in Slovakia. We offer a regenerative and recovery stay in the Piestany Spa which is approximately 700 metres from the hotel.

The area provides plenty of opportunity for active leisure such as biking, roller-skating, tennis, waterskiing and fishing. There is a nine-hole golf course situated in the northern part of the Spa Island about 1 km from our hotel, with a golf club house, cosy coffee bar and shop. Transfers to the golf course may be provided by the hotel.

Tourists information

Transfers are provided by Mikrobus Viano with a deluxe version for 9 people. Limousine services, Mercedes Taxis and hotel taxis are also on offer.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 6.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
